hip hotels soho – coolest hotels west end
Looking for the coolest hotels in Soho ? You’ve come to the right place.
There’s no question that London’s hotel scene is one of the world’s most vibrant. Our last visit was only two years ago and already we’re contemplating another trip since so many gorgeous new hotels have opened up. Due to the sheer number of fabulous hotels I’ve had to dedicate three separate pages to the coolest hotels in London. This page covers Soho and the West End, although in the interests of covering the whole of London in four pages I’ve stretched my geography a little and I’ve also covered the Kings Cross/St Pancras area in this page. The second page covers * Central and West London * and third covers * East London * and the fourth is devoted to * Mayfair and Marylebone *
The coolest hotels in this part of London split between some of the best design hotels and some fabulous luxury hotels. A recent trend that I hope will continue, but which I suspect is limited somewhat by scope, is the reimagining of Victorian railway hotels into contemporary masterpieces. St Pancras Renaissance hotel is the prime example of this, but the Great Northern Hotel is also very impressive. Sanderson is one of my favourite design hotels. Ever. The rooms are fabulous and the bars are some of the coolest in the world. And then there’s a swag of relatively new luxury hotels including the amazing London Edition, Corinthia, Rosewood, Langham and Hotel Cafe Royal. Delicious.
